One vehicle crash
RENOVO — No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle crash along Renovo Road in Grugan Township on July 24, state police at Lamar said.
At 9:16 a.m., Betty S. Jarrett, 67, of Renovo, was traveling east on the roadway, near Zimmerman Lane, when she lost consciousness, police said.
Jarrett’s 2019 Ford Escape left the roadway, striking an embankment and culvert, police said.
Jarrett was not injured and her vehicle was towed from the scene by Martin Motors, police said.
Fraudulent money
MILL HALL — State police at Lamar are investigating two incidents of fraudulent currency that occurred on July 21 at Walmart Supercenter, 167 Hogan Boulevard, Mill Hall.
Police were called to the store at 8:07 p.m. for the report of an unknown customer passing fraudulent US currency, police said.
Police were called again on July 23 at 1:42 p.m. when a suspect purchased groceries using a fake $100 bill, police said.
Theft
FLEMINGTON — State police at Lamar are investigating an incident of theft that occurred along Sturdevant Street in Flemington between April 18 and April 25.
Destroyed property
LOGANTON — State police at Lamar were called to West Valley Road, Logan Township, on June 11 for the report of criminal mischief.
At 8:27 p.m., a 35-year-old Loganton man reported a neighbor was destroying his property, police said.
Damage was allegedly done to roof trusses, valued at $2,000, police said.
Harassment
LOGANTON — State police at Lamar are investigating a potential harassment involving a minor on July 25 in Logan Township.
Police received a report from Clinton County Children and Youth of the minor being touched inappropriately by a known suspect, police said.
Bicycle found
FLEMINGTON — A gray and blue Huffy Cranbrook bicycle was found behind Clinton Lanes Bowling alley along High Street in Flemington on June 24, state police at Lamar said.
Police are looking for the owner of the bicycle, and ask they contact PSP Lamar to recover it, police said.
Property damage
LAMAR — State police at Lamar are investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred along Nittany Valley Drive, Porter Township, on July 15.
The crash involved a 2023 Toyota Tundra near the roadway’s intersection with Stone House Road, police said.
The vehicle was traveling south on the roadway when it traveled off the right side and struck a culvert, police said.
The driver attempted to travel back onto the roadway to leave the scene but became stuck before leaving the vehicle behind, police said.
Police interviewed the owner of the vehicle who denied driving the vehicle, police said.
Theft at Walmart
MILL HALL — Charges are pending against a 32-year-old Jersey Shore man who allegedly stole multiple items from Walmart Supercenter, 167 Hogan Boulevard, Mill Hall, on July 24, state police at Lamar said.
The suspect allegedly stole a small grill, valued at $99; a 12 pack of Propel, valued at $8.38; Oreo sandwich cookies, valued at $4.98; Nutty Buddy four-pack, valued at $4.48; HN masks, valued at $17.98; Wrangler pants, valued at $26.98; and Wrangler shorts, valued at $21.98.
Charges are pending, police said.
Burglary
CASTANEA — State police at Lamar are investigating a burglary that occurred between 1:15 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. on July 21 at Sunoco gas station, 200 S. Hanna St., Lock Haven.
Police responded to an alarm at the business and discovered the business was burglarized, police said.
Lost firearm
MILL HALL — State police at Lamar are investigating a lost firearm in Bald Eagle Township at the intersection of Keystone Central Drive and Salman Road.
According to police, a Smith & Wesson Shield EZ series gun, valued at $521, was reportedly lost in the area, police said.
Sexual assault
MILL HALL — State police at Lamar are investigating an alleged rape that occurred in July in Bald Eagle Township.
Two vehicle crash
BEECH CREEK — The driver of a 2006 Ford Freestyle was transported to UPMC Lock Haven for suspected injuries following a two vehicle crash along Main Street in Beech Creek Borough on July 20, state police at Lamar said.
Rosa A. Tressler, 58, of Julian, was traveling along the roadway when her vehicle struck a 2016 Ram 1500, driven by James T. Bitner, Jr., 40, of Blanchard, who was stopped in the road waiting to make a left turn, police said.
Bitner’s vehicle suffered minor damage and was driven from the scene; Tressler’s vehicle suffered disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Showcase Towing, police said.
Tressler experienced chest pain after the crash and was transported to the emergency room by Beech Creek/Blanchard EMS, police said.
Theft from care home
LOCK HAVEN — An unknown suspect stole $10 in loose change from a vending machine at Fulmer’s Personal Care Home, 201 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven, on July 8, state police at Lamar said.
At 4:25 a.m., a white male with glasses was seen breaking into a soda vending machine and stealing the money inside, police said.
A witness saw a reddish-orange Jeep later flee the scene, police said.
Harassment
NORTH BEND — Two individuals were charged with harassment following an incident along Greene Acres Lane in Chapman Township on July 22, state police at Lamar said.
According to police, a 32-year-old Chapman Township woman and 39-year-old North Bend man engaged in a physical altercation with each other, police said.
Both were cited for harassment through District Judge Frank Mills’ office, police said.
PA Childline was notified due to an infant child being present during the altercation, police said.
Illegal items seized
LAMAR — State police at Lamar seized multiple illegally possessed items from a 2023 Mercury vehicle along Interstate 80 East in Lamar Township on July 15.
The vehicle, no driver listed, was pulled over for Title 75 violations at 6:37 p.m. when numerous indicators of illegal activity were observed, police said.
An investigation is ongoing, police said.
Reckless endangerment
MILL HALL — A 39-year-old Beech Creek woman faces multiple charges following an incident along Laurel Run Road, Bald Eagle Township, on July 21, state police at Lamar said.
Police were called to the scene at 9:37 p.m. for an inactive domestic, where it was found through an investigation the arrestee was extremely intoxicated during the incident, police said.
During the altercation, the woman allegedly broke numerous items in the house and got into her vehicle, nearly striking a 46-year-old Beech Creek man and 13-year-old Beech Creek boy, while trying to leave the residence, police said.
The woman was taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest, two counts recklessly endangering another person, harassment and disorderly conduct, police said.
DUI alleged
PENNS VALLEY — A 41-year-old Spring Mills woman could face DUI charges following a traffic stop along Penns Valley Pike, Potter Township, state police at Rockview said.
The driver was stopped at 3:04 p.m. on July 22 for summary traffic violations when police observed signs the driver may have been under the influence, police said.
The investigation remains open pending potential charges being filed, police said.
